SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER W/MATHEMATICS FOCUS for a Maternity Leave position from March – June 2020, with potential for continuation next school year. New Covenant Christian School seeks a full-time, PA certified special education teacher with a concentration in Math to teach middle school through high school customized, small group Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Life Skills Math, and Geometry classes. This position also includes writing and implementing individualized learning plans, evaluating student progress through a benchmark and progress monitoring system, as well as providing academic support to middle school and high school students with an individual support plan. COMPUTER/TECH INSTRUCTOR, GRADES K–5th – IMMEDIATE OPENING: New Covenant Christian School seeks a part-time instructor to teach 7 elementary computer/tech classes per 6-day cycle in a computer lab setting (PCs). Candidates with experience teaching elementary age students and a working knowledge of current computing systems, coding/programming, keyboarding, and the Microsoft Office Suite are invited to apply. SUBSTITUTE TEACHER – ELEMENTARY MUSIC and/or ART CLASSES on an as-needed basis. Time commitment: 2 to 2.75 hours, AM only.
