Secondary Education Teacher with Math Focus: Full-time, PA certified teacher with a concentration in Math to teach middle school through high school differentiated Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Life Skills Math, and Geometry. This Supplemental Services position includes implementing individualized education math goals, writing and implementing individualized learning plans, evaluating student progress through a benchmark and progress monitoring system, as well as providing academic learning support to middle school and high school students with an individual support plan. Experience in special education and/or implementing IEPs preferred.
TECH/COMPUTER TEACHER – GRADES K – 8: New Covenant Christian School seeks a part-time teacher to provide classroom instruction to students in kindergarten through grade 8 within a Computer Lab setting. Strong communication skills essential. This position requires effective collaboration with classroom teachers. New Covenant Christian School seeks Substitute Teachers at all grade levels. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (preferred), PA Teaching Certification (not required), IU13 Guest Teacher Training (preferred, not required), experience in the classroom setting (required), in agreement with New Covenant doctrinal and lifestyle statements, engaged in a local church body. ACT 151 (PA Child Abuse History Clearance)
Each candidate must submit a copy of an official clearance statement obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare
or a statement from the Department of Public Welfare that no record exists. This clearance must be current within one year.
ACT 34 – PA State Police Criminal Record Check
This report must be current within one year.
ACT 114 of 2006, Section III of the Public School Code – Federal Fingerprinting
This clearance must be current within one year.
