ACT / SAT Registration

Most colleges and universities in the United States accept either the ACT or the SAT as a college entrance exam. Specific admissions requirements can be found on each school’s webpage. The choice of which exam to take is up to each individual student.

College-bound students are advised to take the ACT or SAT at least once during the spring semester of their junior year. This allows for ample time to retake either test in early summer or in the fall of their senior year if necessary. Registration for the both the ACT and SAT is completed online by each student on the ACT and College Board websites, respectively.
