SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER W/MATHEMATICS FOCUS: New Covenant Christian School seeks a full-time, PA certified special education teacher with a concentration in Math to teach middle school through high school differentiated Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Life Skills Math, and Geometry. This position also includes writing and implementing individualized learning plans, evaluating student progress through a benchmark and progress monitoring system, as well as providing academic support to middle school and high schools students with an individual support plan.
SOCIAL STUDIES/HISTORY TEACHER – HIGH SCHOOL: New Covenant Christian School seeks a full-time, PA certified social studies teacher to teach 9th – 12th grade core classes including Civics, American History, World History, Economics, and an elective course. Proficient computer skills and technology integration experience preferred.
TECH/COMPUTER TEACHER – GRADES K – 8: New Covenant Christian School seeks a part-time teacher to provide classroom instruction to students in kindergarten through grade 8 within a Computer Lab setting. Strong communication skills essential. This position requires effective collaboration with classroom teachers. SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS NEEDED – ALL GRADE LEVELS
New Covenant Christian School seeks Substitute Teachers at all grade levels. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (preferred), PA Teaching Certification (not required), IU13 Guest Teacher Training (preferred, not required), experience in the classroom setting (required), in agreement with New Covenant doctrinal and lifestyle statements, engaged in a local church body. Please complete the Substitute Teacher Application found on our website, www.nccspa.org. Current educational clearances are required (dated 2017).
ACT 151 (PA Child Abuse History Clearance)
Each candidate must submit a copy of an official clearance statement obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare
or a statement from the Department of Public Welfare that no record exists. This clearance must be current within one year.
The applicant MUST submit the ORIGINAL report prior to employment.
ACT 34 – PA State Police Criminal Record Check
This report must be current within one year.

This clearance must be current within one year.
