Spiritual Life Classes
Classes are held regularly for our middle school students (6th-8th grade), where students get to address a variety of relevant topics in their respective grades. This class was developed and is taught by Mr. Scheirer to give students an opportunity to grow as a class as well as individually in a Bible-based, faith-discussion style class. This is a non-graded class which includes activities and generates discussions on team-development, leadership development, school and culturally relevant themes, topics, and more. It is also a class where students get opportunity to pray for one-another, family, school etc. This class was instituted in 2011 and has been growing in purpose and direction as a place where kids have a forum for more open faith-sharing during the school day.
K4 through fifth grade meet weekly in a dynamic time of worship and life applicable lessons. These lessons are led by guests and friends of New Covenant. Our worship during these chapel services are led by various groups of students, teachers, and guests.
Chapel Electives for Middle School and High School
High School Girls:
The purpose and heart of this breakout is to empower our eighth through twelfth grade girls to grow as young women of God and to know how much the Lord loves them. This process involves recognizing lies of the enemy and replacing it with the truth of God’s Word! Our prayer is that the ladies take ownership of their faith and grow in their love for Jesus Christ.
High School Boys: “Knights of the 21st Century”
This material is unique as it uses a knighthood metaphor grounded in Biblical principles that calls men to nobility in their thoughts and actions. Knights of the 21st Century motivates and challenges men to reach their full potential in all areas of life. For more information, go to www.lebanonknights.com.
Korean Bible Study:
Led by a local Korean pastor, this session allows our Korean students an opportunity to study the word in their native tongue.
